In the last pic it looks like it is peering into your house trying to see you! A peeping tom orchid.

When I got this plant I had been told the cross was Digbyana and Culcutta, then the fibber listed the plant on his website and it calls the culcutta half something else. Im quite sure its a cross but it has none of the red his has. My flower turned out very Digbyana looking.....
Last Night....1 hr. into opening
And this morning, fully opened.....
In the last pic it looks like it is peering into your house trying to see you! A peeping tom orchid.
And the throat.....
And a hoya pic..........
It's a steam bath out there, but the 'chids love it!

It's beautiful, Connie, whatever it is called. Green flowers are just so exceptional. I like the 'peeping orchid' picture too!
Tami
Beautiful, Connie. I like the lizzard showing off for the camera in the hoya shot too.
Cheers,

The hoya has begun to be a 'host' for the nepenthes. The gecko slipped in there, I didn't see him until I was previewing the pics to post.
Connie, those are awesome pictures!! I just got a 'Ports of Paradise' the other day and I can't WAIT until it blooms...it'll be a while though, it has 2 new growths that look like they are about 3 months along.
That one of the bloom "looking" in the window is adorable, I LOL'd when I saw it!
Cool lizard too, I'm going to show this post to my husband, he LOVES those Florida lizards
Good luck Becky;
This one had a 4 in. growth when I got it and it has so far been a fairly easy plant. Mine is still rather young, and I can't wait to see it a year from now as there will be more and larger blooms then. I'll be watching for your pics, should be a nice one!
I've been eyeing up the 'Ports of Paradise' now for awhile. I think these pics just sold me. Don't tell my hubby
