Good luck....so far one looks like it's sticking it's tongue out at you. My guess, that'll be the one that opens while you aren't there! The color of the buds is amazing, the blooms should be gorgeous!

I've been so excited for the last week because my Cattleya's buds emerged from the sheath. Now, I'm growing impatient and hoping they open SOON...although not tomorrow because I have to work. Picky, aren't I???
Here are the pics as of tonight....
It's Lc. Koolau Seagull x Blc. Edisto New Berry

@brutal Dreamer: Oh Thank God! If you happen to be wrong though, expect hate mail. (j.k!!)
He's right, a few more days and then............a spectacular show!
Patience !!!!! Even though it is not easy.

It could be up to a couple of weeks before they fully open...I think.
growing orchids can definitely teach us patience! It is easier to wait for buds to open than to wait for a plant to mature to blooming size, LOL. Looking forward to see your blooms! Just don't fiddle or move the plant at this time. Too many of us have broken spikes, knocked off buds or caused a spike to blast due to our over loving nature
I love the way one appears to be sticking out its' tongue! Cheeky 'chid!
