    Default micropore tape

Hi all, another question in my prelude to flasking...
it's been mentioned that three layers of micropore tape can be used for filters on vents for flasks. is this the 3m tape that's kind of papery they use when you get blood taken to stick the cotton on? and you put it on before the autoclave step?
i think i'll experiment with vented and unvented flasks, just in case...

oh and as an aside my quest for the right agar was solved when i got a coupon for the health food store from ecotrent when i volunteered to sort trash on move in day...the science department doesn't give coupons...

Sounds right, it says micropore in the inside of the core.

Yes, the papery stuff. Three layers, before autoclaving.

    Good luck!
