We used to have a couple of Anthuriums (one white and one red), but I did not bring them inside in time and frost killed them. The blooms look really great in a mixed arrangement.

What a pretty pink color.

Here is a photo I took after moveing in... the pond is now a bit bigger, it had a leak so I decided what the heck while I relined it. There are about 5 flowers on the anthurium... also got lots of chids staying there now... moistest place in the day while humidity dips. After 4 or so the humidity is about 50 to 60% (nearly 80% right now because its a little overcast...)
No way of bringing that plant inside... although it does make alot of small baby plants I guess can bve potted.... way too messy anyway...
There is a slight gap between the wall and the shade roof, the sun seems to fry the ones it touches in there...
The reason I liked that flower is becuuse of the unusual transition from pink to purple in the "finger"
On the other side of the house they grow with some of those white lillies form the spider photo... it seems to balance out the size of the anthurium flower better... the white ones are always so tiny.
I saw some nearly purple black ones at a nursery recently... was not willing to pay the price.... (higher than what I paid for the ansellia)
I really like these - they are very nice, and Bruce is right - they look awesome in arrangements!!
I love these tiny little flowers that grow infront of the pond
I love your little water garden and the tiny white flowers at the front are cute too!
Thanks for sharing.
