Default Paphs are TOUGH - paphiopedilum venustum

This is my little Ingaborg (Paphiopedilum venustum). She started declining after I had left on my trip to Greenland (I know I should have left her with better hands.) Previously I posted a thread about how I am trying to rehabilitate her. Despite, after unpotting her and repotting her twice in s/h, chopping off a moldy lead, and clipping off almost all her roots, she is developing two new growths! For me, this proves that Paphs are really tough plants!

As she developes I'll post more photos.

they are. You know the spag/bag trick then? If i want more roots on my paphs for some reason like rot..i pot them up and wrap spag. moss around where the roots come out. New roots don't take very long to form keeping the moss damp.

Good job Terry! I have rotted the roots off on one Paph twice and brought it back to blooming
