This is probably the most exciting bloom for me this year. I purchased this plant on 2-8-2004 in a plug tray with three tiny p-bulbs with the largest being almost 3" tall.
After almost five years, it's blooming! The blooming p-bulb is only 7" tall and the bloom itself is SUPER HUGE for the size of the plant...almost 5" across! No scent yet as it just opened this morning. I chose the clonal name as it was a seed grown cross
I hope there is a scent eventually!
Thanks for looking and sharing the happiness!

That is great, Clint!
Like the color combination.
I like the frill lip although its not as digbyana but still very nice, Clint.
Congratulations Clint! Bravo! It is beautiful.
Cheers,
BD
I really like her...she's so cute!!!
As I sit watching my B. David Sanders grow, I know what you went through. I wait and hope they will make it. I have three of them (four if you count the barely there seedling that should still be in a flask!) that were just given to me in a seedling plug tray. You give me hope...maybe someday I'll see them bloom too.
Yours is so pretty...I love the delicate fuzzy lip and touches of color here and there. It is an amazing one...great job!

For comparison, here is Auntie Diane's that she posted a couple of years ago. Obviously, they're sisters but still kind of different!
That is a neat one, looks like a dragon getting ready to take a bite out of your hand.
