    Default Cymbidium: New growth or spike?

    This is a a cymbidium that I received last Valentine's in bloom and after it flowered, I got a new growth which matured and now there is another growth from underneath the bulb. Could it be a spike? Well, I did keep it outside till around the end o December for cooling, after which I placed it in my warm and sunny Orchid room.

    Sorry abut the low quality of the pics. It might be a bit early to judge.
