hi everyone i just got another orchid and was wondering if anyone can give me information about the orgins of care of and when it was discovered that type of information the plants name is cattleya skinneri wabash valley thanks alot Robert Wright

skinneri is the national flower of Costa Rica. It's a common orchid in Central America. It is recommended because of it's ability to withstand many growing conditions. It is the parent to a natural occuring cross which produced c. guatamalensis. I don't know when it was 'discovered'.

It should have high light, warm temperatures; regular, light feeding. Allow media to dry before watering again. Since it is a native of the rain forests, it does not have a dry period like some species.
