Two Ancistrochilus ..... and a lot of growth on one of them! Good surprise!
I love the p-bulb shape..those are so unusual!
One has three new growths and other has five.
Nice looking plants! I wheeled and dealed last year looking for 2 plants. Congrats and you are welcome! Did you get home first? What are the other 2 dream plants Stephen?
Looking great, Stephen!
cheers,
BD
Yep Ron, got home first and yesterday I repoted them into a shallow clay pot. Now they look like they've been under the light for years, just like all the other plants. I'd still like to find a Dracula vampira at decent price, I found one but they wanted $75 plus shipping, and Cattleya iricolor.,
Stephen there are South American vendors heading to Redlands...I am sure an iricolor can be obtained from one of them.
Here they are transplanted. The bottom of the pot has a layer of osmunda fiber and the plants are in a mix of sphag, coconut chunks, charcoal, and sponge rock.
I did contact that vendor but he would only use a payment method that I'd previous problems with and will no longer use. I believe that very same vendor has a rep. that is a member of my orchid society. We meet next Wednesday so I'm going see if he can do anything for me.
