Yes, it's the first time it has bloomed for me. I don't remember where I bought it-- about a year or two ago. The color was a surprise to me too! All part of the fun of growing orchids. Vandas have become my favorite since I think they are unusual and a bit of a challenge to grow, especially here in Pennsylvania.

Oh, and yes, I have a bluish one in bloom too. Two others with spikes. Can't wait to see what colors they are!

Stevied, those vandas are so beautiful. Do you have a large collection of vandas? They seem to bloom and grow well for you.

    Cheers,

Culanluasg, these look like the same variaety. Mine is tagged Ascda Peggy Foo. Yours ia also beautiful. BD, I have 11 Vandas. I did have 12 but one died this winter. Not sure what happened; just kept loosing leaves one by one. I feel the itch to replace it. I buy on line or go to a local place in Ottsville, Pa, about a 10 minute drive from my home. It's really too close. With credit card in hand there is no stopping me!
