Terrestrial orchids, grow from a small bulb, during winter loose leaves and only bulb remain.
Must be kept dry during winter rest but bulbs must not be allowed to dry out, lots of light avoid direct sun, when growing a lot of water, when flowering really beautiful

Looks like it belongs under the sea. Very pretty.
I am just started growing a Habenaria from tubers, what is yours potted in?
another beauty!
Stunning... it also reminds me of a bird when it opens it's feathers to preen itself...
Oh my goodness, I must have this one. How very unusual. Beautiful.
That is so cool. I agree with Laurent - it looks like it belongs in the sea. Really a cool orchid. I can see that bird too, Tim! LOL. Thanks for sharing this one. I it!
Cheers,

Very cool. I have seen photos of the Habenaria radiata (Egret Orchid) but this is the first I've heard of this one. Thanks for sharing.
Hello,
it is a terrestrial orchid, and it is not to difficult to grow, just give it winter dry cold rest, but remember during winter you have to spray the pot at least once a week don't let the bulb become too dry.
it i snot difficult to find in in Europe, I bought it in Germany

OH My! I really don't need to look at pics of other orchids yet!
