At my orchid society meeting today, the guest speaker had plants for sale. Lots of phrags in bloom (and I was tempted - even tried to get Sarah (Sadie) to buy the one I really wanted - no luck) lol. Anyhoo, I got these that were not in bloom so that I could bloom them myself. Sorry about the photos. I took them when I got home and did not plan it out very well.
Paph. Alice Barrios (primulinum 'Gold Bug' x Norito Hasegawa 'Algonquin' AM/AOS)
Bublophyllum Jersey (lobbii 'Kathy's Gold' AM/AOS x echinolabium 'Windy Hill')
Paph. (Prim-n-Proper 'Ron' x stonei 'Jean')
Cheers,
BD

The Alice Barrios should be a yellow paph!! The bulbo should be orange. I am not sure what the other paph will be, but I love the long skinny leaves. I am not sure if the cross has been bloomed yet. Oh well, something to look forward too.
Cheers,
BD
Nice hauls! I am curious what the Prim-n-Proper x stonei will look like.
Bruce I am psyched for you!! You know these will bloom well under yout TLC Can't wait to see bloom pics!! Nice choices!!
Great Haul, I also look forward to seeing them in bloom. I am sure they will thrive for you.
I agree with playtime8978, BD. We're waiting them in bloom.
primulinium x stonei! That would make it an Imperial Jade. I have one of the kind. A striking paph with attitude, the way its petals stand back. I've fancied it as an ornament on the hood of a car. And with parents like that, you'd be sure of a winner!
Congrats!
Oops! Prim 'n Proper, not primulinium. Well, seeing Prim 'n Proper's stance, it would be even more striking!
