    Default Paphiopedilum moquettianum

Lesson #1 when becoming a Paph fiend. Never say you don't like something. Somehow, sometime, this little cutie really grew on me! I have had two blooms so far. I also have a primulinum spiking, which I am very much looking forward to blooming during these gray months. This is moq. 'A World of Orchids' AM/AOS x 'Ervin Lee' AM/AOS.

    Enjoy!

That's a gorgeous pic, Heather. I love the way the light reflects off of the hairs on the petals. You've had some great camera practice!

    Thanks!
Heh, yeah, "practice" taking a bazillion photos to get one halfway decent. This was one of my better days I guess, didn't need to take 2 bazillion!

    Thanks Bruce!
I can count three more buds, waiting in the wings to open, so I'll have at least 5, hope to do as well as Uncasteeb's record 11! I love this little one, such a surprise for me. Seeing things in person can really change one's mind, especially if she is known to be rather fickle to begin with!
