V. Kasam's Delight' X 'Dr. Anek' had an accident

This one suffered a disaster. The bloom was growing so high that I was afraid it would get bumped by the light mover as it traveled above it. When I moved it I bumped off the top 4 buds. I wanted to cry. There were still 5 beautiful buds which did open. The blooms measured 5 1/4" across. I can only imagine what 9 flowers would have looked like.

Those are beautiful. I always want to kick myself when I break a spike--all that work, the plant does its thing and I ruined it. At least you didn't break off the whole spike.
