ok a few non plants!
Gorgeous, nice clear shots of the flowers. The owl picture is awesome too!
Those are great shots. That owl shot is wicked cool. Are you going to tell us the cute pup's name?
Cheers,
BD
Great photos and thank you for sharing them the dog is adorable and the shot of the owl is fantastic. The flower shots are lovely and clear but the only one I firmly recognise is the violet/viola ( always get those two mixed up)
Great shots I like the spider in the trillium.

Thanks! The puppy is my Lhasa Apsi named Kayla Bear! The owl is actually a stuffed owl in a nature center that I take my sons to quite frequently. It was so weird/cool looking I had to snap a pic. Names of plants, starting from the top:
1. Trillium grandiflorum - Large White Trillium
2. Sanguinaria canadensis - Bloodroot
3. Trillium sessile - Sessile Trillium
4. Geranium maculatum - Wild Cranesbill
5. Ranunculus ??? - Buttercup
6. Actaea pachypoda - White Baneberry
7. Trillium erectum - Wake Robin
8. Viola sagittata - Arrowleaf Violet
9. Asarum canadense - Wild Ginger
10. Caltha palustris - Marsh Marigold
11. Camassia scilloides - Wild Hyacinth
12. Isopyrum biternatum (pretty sure) - False Rue Anemone
13. Some "Deer" friends eating all of our native plants!!!
14. Canis lupus familiaris "Lahasa Apso" - Kayla Bear
15. Woodsy the Owl - Give a hoot, don't pollute or I will hunt you down!!!!
Good times!!!!!!
Great shots! Are the deer wild? I was wondering how you got such a great shot of an owl! lol.
