No problem. Oh, and welcome to the forum! Sorry I didn't notice before it was your first post.
Wow. this is an old post. How do you get these things to bloom. I have a large, lush looking plant. Bloomless.
lovely and an interesting cross!
i think it should be "grammatophyllum" not "gramy", correct?
very big, clean flowers. Nice
Wow, very pretty! Good luck with it!
Very beautiful ! I didnt know that cyms and grammatos could cross pollinate !
Since they can cross with cymbidiums, perhaps culture much like a cymbidium. Just a guess.
Treat it like a warmth tolerant cymbidium or mini cyms.
Angie is right. Those little droplets are plant sugars that are formed at the tips of any leaf or flower part. That is a very interesting plant! I wonder how much the ensifolium will shorten it. Gramytophyllum scriptum gets from 4' - 5' (1.5m) tall. The hybrid will need a good amount of sun and lots of water and fertilizer during the growing period. When fall comes, let it get a little drier and a bit of a cooler period until flower spikes begin. It looks like a very nice plant and puts out a heck of a show! Congrats on it.
