    Talking Neofinetia babies arrived!!!

My neo babies arrived today! They look very healthy and very little. Are they growing quick or I have to wait about forever for a bloom? Do they like light or shade?

    Exclamation

    Congratulations-they look very healthy .

I would remove the picture witht he credit card since some of the confidential information can be clearly seen and who knows what can happen if people manipulate the photo to get a better look at the numbers.

Thanks, Susan! I just wanted to show how big they are... This card was just replaced and is no longer working that is why I used it, but ... Better be on the safe side... Thanks again!

All seedlings prefer about 800 FC or good shade. They look really healthy!

Not sure how fast they grow. The one I had was a slow one.

I grow mine in slightly higher light than 800FC. Those are probably at least a year from flowering. They usually bloom in the spring, so it is possible that the could bloom next year, but they should for sure in 2011. Don't get discouraged. I can tell from the name etc where you got them and that source has really healthy plants--they are usually young so just give them time and you'll have some beauties.

I would leave them in the compot until next late spring and then move them to individual thumb pots
