Cool, Darren. I like all the twists and turns. I have never tried to grow one of these, but see them quite often.

    Cheers,

Thanks Margo, Ron and Bruce, this lucky bamboo style of dragon represent longevity & wealthy. Bruce you should give it a try ...it will bring lucky to you all year round.
Lucky Bamboo culture is very to care just change the water every 3 weeks and every times you put new water(spring water, no tap water will kill the plant) then add 3-5 drops of green green to keep them healthy all year long and it only need medium-low lights.. you can keep them in office desk or a table next to you're sofa for a nice decoration.

Actually, I think tap water should be fine - here in Hong Kong these are very popular and I'm sure they are all growing in our horribly chemically tap water. I would try tap water first, to avoid the plants getting hooked on the expensive stuff.

Hi! you can grow them in tap water, as long as you put tap water in the bucket leave it open over night otherwise I'm afraid that tap water carry chlorine, it will damaged the roots. I've experience using fresh water and the plant growing like crazy, every time changing water I add green green fertilize 10/drop for big plant mixed them up and pour to the vase
