    Default Prosthechea radiata

Prosthechea used to be n the genus Encyclia but was moved to this new genus in the late 1990's

This is quite a lovely one, an easy grower and bloomer. It is also fragrant: always a major plus, LOL. It is indigenous to Central and Northern South America

Very nice cluster of flowers! I have one of these but it hasn't bloomed in the last 2 years, I have recently moved it into a more sunny spot, I hope that helps and that it soon looks like yours!

Meg, I grow it with 50% sun, so upping the light was a good idea. Hopefully yours will bloom on the next new growth

I always love this one. It has been moved around in the name-change game quite a bit.

    Cheers,

is it a kind of genus that don't make resupination? All the lips seems to face upward.
