    Default Dendrobium winter rest?

    Hi,

I hear this pretty often that some of the orchids need winter rest period. Does this apply for keikis as well? I have couple of keikis and was wondering if they need to be watered for active growth or let them rest as well.

i would say the keikis should be watered or fertilized even more frequently in the beginning.
you have any pix of your dendro's?

    Default Watering

I have read somewhere that orchids also absorb nutrients though the leaves so would this apply to Dendros as well as the larger leaf varieties? I was thinking in terms of morning spraying that could contain a weak fertiliser. Rex.
