Default Color change in Bl Mem Bernice Foster

A while back someone asked about color change in Mem Bernice Foster. I have two inflorescenses, one of which is older and the other has just started blooming. The golden yellow flowers are the older ones and the ones with more pink in the petals has just opened.

Amazing ! I do not know which parent imparts this quality, but I have observed the reverse in my Blc. Golden mul orient. The flowers start out yellow and then as they age they become a magnificent orange. Thanks for sharing the pictures Janet.

Very cool, you get two flowers for the price of one! I like the shape of the flowers too, very pointy.

I've notices that colors do get a lot more vibrant as a bloom matures, especially in white sepaled blooms. Bernice is gorgeous!
