Thanks for the pic of Onc ornithorhyncum. We don't see it here as it is cool growing. Even its hybrids don't do well here.

Ah right I see yes it seems to do well here our house doesn't get awfully hot and is cool in winter/autumn I will ave to see if it flowers next year for me as I will move it a little nearer the cool window, it has had very strong light it was about 2.5ft away from a metal halide all summer.
