Ron, what an idyllic sight. How I envy you! Just imagine stepping out on the side deck and be confronted by such a view!.Are you sure that's not heaven I'm seeing?

As some of you know My wife and I purchased a lake cottage last fall and I have been busy renovating it. The season is rapidly coming to a close and I still have more to do...maybe in 3 years it will be what I envision
I have been also enjoyinbg the changing light on the water. One night the lake was very still...not a breeze...I stepped out onto the side deck and to my amazement the surface of the lake was studded with reflected stars...so cool!
Here are a few pics that I have taken over the last 2 weekends.

Ron, the 2nd picture is amazing. The deep red and amber of the trees is stunning, and the lake looks idyllic. It must be nice there.
These pictures are incredible. I'm envious of your fall color. We don't get much color change down here on the coast.
Color should be at peak next weekend. There were a few pockets of intense color.
wow you've made a good investment there. This would be my dream property. I hope i
can still find something as pristine as this.
very nice!
but i couldnt quite spot my house, dont tell me you forgot to build it???
Ron, the reason I envy you is because where I have my holiday apartment in the highlands, the land is so expensive i would have to be a millionaire or have savings over 3 lifetimes to be able to afford to build my own house/cottage and even then wouldn't have those gorgeous autumn colours.
The first picture shows the view from my balcony and the others the tea estates 20 minutes drive away.
The second picture with autumn colours is 'picture perfect'. stunning, we do not have such a colourful autumn atleast here in Bremen.
