Looks like its a semi-teret Vanda, shouldn't be hard to pick up a name thru Dr. google or one of the Thai sites.

hi randy,
lovely and your shots gettn better!
yep its a semi-terete type vanda, i didn't bother getting an ID for it, but its really lovely.
ron, thanks glad you noticed that my shots are getting better.
Nice vanda, Randy.Semi-teretes do have this free-flowering quality esp if they are given a lot of light, including full sun.
Randy, here's my semi-terete vanda V Intan x V Gordon Dillon in bloom at the moment. It's very free-flowering 5 - 6 times a year, but has a genetic fault; when there are more than 7 flowers the last 4-5 buds become deformed lacking either petals or lip. You can see these 'deformed' buds at the tip of the spike. I know I should throw it away but never could steel myself to do it! Any way the wife loves it and uses it for her flower arrangement. However I have another clone of the same cross with purplish-blue colour and no deformities but blooms only 2-3 times a year[ sigh ]. Both were grown from seedlings.
wow thats really pretty and 5-6 times a year? amazing.
