This guy has three spikes with a total of 17 blooms. In the morning it fills the entire apartment with it's spicey fragrance. The other is my noid. Much more compact but not as fragrant. A subtle peppery smell.

This is very pretty!
lovely and nice plant!
These are so colorful! I'm enjoying the lilac scent of my blue bird right now. Mine is a little plain compared to your lovely!
awesome plant....I like there shape very much
Great specimens and fantastic blooms.
Congrats, that is a lot of spikes/blooms!
I love, love, love this species. Please share your culture as your plant looks very happy.
Raphael - This is a pretty easy plant if you have the right conditons. They need as much light as catts but do not like the heat. If you can keep it indoors with the ac in summer, it will love you. Do not let them dry out and feed as you do all your other plants and it will bloom for you in the fall and spring. Spike initates while the new growth are still very small. It's a big plant but is very vertical so it does not take up as much space as large phal. Trust me once you smell it, you will never want to be without one!
I love it! Look at the pattern on the lip of that Zygo. mackayi! well grown and bloomed. Now, I wish I could smell it too.
Cheers,
BD
