Mojamoja,
I'm new to this site and have come across this thread during northern hemisphere winter. You have a beautiful garden and I dream that mine will someday be like yours; I love how you attach everything to trees and try for a natural look. If I only could get wonderful orchids for $2.00 a piece....
Cheers from a kindred spirit on the other side of the planet. I love your quote about the beauty of small things.
Mabuhay!
Thank you to all who viewed and commented my tiny piece of paradise. thank you.
Anyhow, i just came across an FB page and i got this idea from them :
TOMATO LEAVES INSECTICIDE !!!
Two cups of chopped tomato leaves in two cups of water and soak in water for a couple days. To make the spray, strain the leaves out of the liquid using a fine strainer. Add another one to two cups of water to the liquid and add it to a spray bottle. Tomato plants contain toxic compounds called alkaloids in their leaves. While this spray is very safe for humans, some people are allergic to alkaloids. If you are one of them, care in making and applying this.
(Good for grasshopper, white fly control and aphids.)
I will definitely try this concoction.
PS
my garden says "have a nice day ahead". God bless
