Thanks Bruce. It's putting out a new flower spike already. It just loves the heat.

Wow, that's a real looker! It's wonderful you have such a nice way to remember your grandmother. I'm sure she would be proud of how well you have cared for her vanda!

Thanks Tami. It's the best way to show my appreciation for all her generosity. And I know she's smiling down on me. :-)
Beautiful!
Thank you Pavel. ;-)
Three years on, this vanda has grown to about 4 feet tall. Remember in the first post I said it was in bloom 3 to 4 times a year? Now, it is in bloom 13 to 14 times in a year. In these photos, it even has double spiking. This is, by far the most prolific bloomer in my garden. It is a vanda which blooms with the frequency of a hibiscus.
Al, this was the one I told you about in my reply to your thread Ascocenda Suksamran.
Beautiful,nice growing.
Thank you, Selvi. This orchid is a fast grower that's why it doesn't run out of leaf axils where it can set forth new spikes every month.
Lucky you! Having these wonderful flowers all year long. I envy you.
