Default Pot. Morning Love 'Nice Day'

My Pot. Morning Love 'Nice Day' is most interesting because I really thought I would get a dark purple lip. When the lip was purple-magenta, I was slightly disappointed but I still really liked it. However, I brought it to my OS meeting in February and while I was there, the lip was dark purple. I swear it was not the lighting....when I got home it was magenta again.

WOW!! Very nice color. I was planning to buy at least one Potinara yesterday, but got frustrated when no one can tell me as to the ID of the plant, except Cattleya.

    Nice pic and good growing.

Nice going, Debbie! That's awesome! How long have you been growing it in S/H?

I got it in October/November and put it into s/h pretty quickly. The roots grow right into the reservoir too but there is no rot. For whatever reason, it adapted pretty quickly.

That's very nice! I've got one I'm trying in s/h but I think it needed more light this winter because it is not as happy as yours is!
