You can put phals into the semi-hydro. But i'm not sure about the rest. I would recommend either a humidity tray or a fine mist humidifier.

I have been reading about SH and vase culture but i'm not sure if i'm understanding it right. i want to try the SH or vase culture but i'm not sure which one is better and what kind of orchids do good in this methods. i have 3 phals, 1 paph, 1 Wilsonara, 1 Miltassia and 1 oncidium. Do any of this orchids do good in SH, vase culture or both???? I'm all confused lol but i wanna give it a try since my orchids dont get enough humidity!!!!! plz everyone help =(

Miltassia might give you problems. The others- Wilsonara and Oncidium- should do well in either vase or Semi-hydro.

i think everything i ordered will get here by thurdays and no later than friday and then i will have to let it soak for about a day. i will be probably posting up pics by sunday!!! i just noticed that most of my orchids have new roots growing

right on, most of them have at least 3 new roots growing, so does that mean i'm doing something right then lol
Yep! They like the conditions you have them in.
cool i'm not really sure what am doing but this sound good lol =). i started growing orchids like 5 months ago and now i have 10 of them and they all seem to be doing great except one phal that has mites but even though it has mites its also has new roots coming out and a new leaf
