Hi everyone...this is where I keep some of my blooming orchids, plus a couple of Phals that are in stress. I put plastic bags over them until they recover...Betty in Texas

I'll try to take a better shot...Later, Betty
Nice and sunny, and I do see lots of color!

Is this any better? I think you can also see my humidity trays. By the way, I managed to put this pic. on without ANY help! LOL...Betty
I hope that this size is a little better. I also mist my Phals. twice a day, especially if they are dehydrated. I also wick OUT ANY WATER which is in the center...I find that it is easier to PREVENT crown rot, than cure it...But I'll go into crown rot later...Betty in Texas
Sorry about that...wrong pic. here is the Phal...
Here is "what" is blooming in the breakfast nook...Betty in Texas
Betty I've been meaning to ask you about your cute ICU breakfast nook...wish I could send one of my phals to your little ICU..what direction is that nook facing?
Hi Desiree, The window is facing East. The morning sun shines in...sometimes too strongly, and I lower the shade for an hr. or two. Other wise, it is very bright because there are windows facing east, south, & west.( the shelves are next to to east facing window) I make sure that the Phals. in the ICU are never in the sun. :-) However I believe that putting a plastic bag over them has really been the key to them retaining moisture. Hope this helped. Betty
