    Default Cattleya (Laelia) lundii

A beautiful miniature gem. This is the last of 4 flowers. I've been slacking off on my photo taking .

Susan, your plant/flower are beautiful. I have a very small one but seem to be having a problem growing it well. So what are you, and/or others doing to grow this Cattleya? High sun/light, bark/moss, water/restrict water.... just what to do? And looking at my plant should it be repotted?

I got mine last Dec. and it came in a 3-inch pot with bark. It is now coming close to overgrowing the pot. I am growing mine under T5 lights inside toward the center of the fixture, so light is fairly high for my conditions. I water mine about once a week. It dries between waterings. I'm not an expert on this one, but it seems to be doing fine and is quite vigorous. Another interesting thing about this species is that it blooms before the foliage grows out of the new growths.
