Mine Max Ten flowers once a year (now), but it keeps going for a long time (at least 2 moths) the buds mature at different times, so the first once will fade away but there will be new once opening. I love the fragrance too!

Hey everyone,
Recently I came accross the Maxillaria Tenuifolia, and went crazy for its coconut scent! Now I want to have the scent all the time, in other words I was wondering if anyone has hybrids on the Tenuifolia that will bloom more often, but still have the coconut scent? Please let me know and if you know of any other orchids that are compact for indoors that smell of coconut, feel free to post!
Yes I am a little crazy for this orchid!!!
I have Maxillaria Tenuifolia x Maxillaria Sanguinea, but no blooms yet. Don'y hybrids usually bloom more often rather than seasonal?
Please give me any information on Maxillaria Tenuifolia bloom times and how to have its scent throughout the year.
Thank You,
Tommy

coconut scented potpourri?
Thanks for the posts! I think that I will have to get over the blooming throughout the year idea, because it seems pretty impossible and it has been a large time consumer trying to find hybrids on-line. Does anyone know of orchids that have a vanilla scent scent or something similar? Still looking for any scented orchids that will bloom on/off throughout the year.
Also, I have the Oncidium Sharry Baby and was wondering if that one will just keep blooming as long as it has new growths? It grows like wildfire : )
