That's kind of a shocker. I guess I don't know Bulbos well enough yet. (still haven't flowered one) A lot of these are cool just because they are so bizarre. This one is bizarre, but very pretty at the same time. Nice.

The lip is hinged, and does a 'dippy-bird' type motion in the wind. Additionally, the end of the lip has a tuft of hair which moves pretty constantly. If I had a videocamera you would all be freaking out right now. Um . . . I mean because you'd see how incredibly cool this thing is. Not because you would all get upset by the fact that I had a videocamera. Anyhow.
Do you need one of these? Probably.
(Hey Louis! Why don't you expand into Bulbos a bit? It's hot and humid enough in AR, as far as I know . . . )

I can see where the hairy lip would be very susceptible to air movement. It inspires all sorts of horror story lines...

Ok, how did I miss this one!!!
Bulbo's are definitely on the fave list! Pity most the them and in particular the spectacular ones are warm growers.. grrrr!
Any fragrance on this?
And a great photo by the way, I love the way the plant is very clear and the flowers are very wispy...
Cheers
Tim

Sue, awesome!
And yes, am going that direction--climate here really would be perfect.
Just no bronze ones, because of issues I have.
