    Default Your Tiny Orchids

I promised Bruce I would start a thread for tiny orchids. To qualify as tiny orchids for this thread, the plant(not including the spike) must be shorter than 3"(8cm) but flower size is not limited because some of the tiny plants will have very large flowers. No limit for the width of your plant either. Thank you for posting your tiny ones here.

Here is Cadetia funiformis, one of my many tiny orchids:

This is wonderful, Tom. I also grow tiny/small/compact orchids. In fact one of my favorites is blooming now...just haven't had a chance to post a pic. The leaves are about two to three inches long...should they go on this thread? Please let me know...Thanks, Betty :-)

Thanks, Betty. To qualify as tiny one for this thread, the plant should not be taller than 3".

Yes, and I just went out to the greenhouse and measured it. It's slightly too big...leaves are five to six inches long. I'll post it on the cattleya site...Thanks anyway, Betty :-)

Well, ron, I'm going to have to divide it after it blooms. It actually is growing like a weed and has several more spikes. I expect it to be in bloom for a long time to come! Betty :-)
