    Default Burana Beauty Wins a Blue

    I entered my Burana Beauty as part of my orchid societies exhibit at the National Capital Orchid Societies Show on October 9th and it placed third in the exhibit.For that show it had aspike with three blooms and another spike with 5 buds that were just opening. That was my first time to enter a show. Two weeks later while I was on vacation m the Susquehanna Orchid Society, my society, had their show and the plant was entered again. This time the spike of 5 blooms had opened and I won first place with it. I am now officially hooked on showing my orchids. LOL I just love this Catt! The blooms are now history but tonight I discovered another plump sheaf.
    This guy is like the ever-ready bunny it just keeps going!

    That is great Bill. The plant I have is just starting to spike. Last winter, the cold did some damage on my plant. I wasn't sure if it was going to bloom this year. I can only hope that mine does half as well as yours. It is nice to know all of the time that you have put in, has rewarded you. Good Growing,Rich
