just goes to show that even the die hard Paph lover sometimes has other genera in their collection...
Phal amobinensis (maybe someone could confirm if it is the correct name or if it is Phal amboinense)
This species is a low altitude species from Sulawesi, and grows in the shady moist forest.
however, where i grow it, it gets plenty of light through the skylight which it is directly under... so not sure if it would do better if i mive it somewhere less bright.
anyhoo... here it is.
cheers
Tim
G'day Tim, welcome back. Long time no see.
Nice flower. Got a few Phallies myself now.
I am with a few exceptions usually not the biggest fan of Phals., but this is one of those definite exceptions. Love the substance and banding on the white background!
What an outstanding phalaenopsis! Beautiful!
Cheers,
BD
I really like this one. If you are going to have one this is definately one to have.
Nice clone Tim.
I want one...
I love it! This is one of my favorites.
