Yes I was in Spore from late Nov to early Dec to give moral support to my grand daughter while she was awaiting her Primary 6 Results and also help her select schools of her choice. As I was telling Vincent (Siagou) your S'pore educational system is really stressful.
Sure I'll be in Spore for the WOC and hope to see you and Vincent there.Btw my Paph spicerianum x liemianum will be blooming soon and I'm eagerly waiting to see what it will look like as this is a new cross.
These are all well done! In the growing/blooming of them, the photography of them and their display. AL
As a matter of interest does anyone know where 'Ang Thong grows on that island ? I went there once - to the archipelago , by fast motor boat from Ko Samui - long before it had an international airport. I recall an interesting ramble with a lot of very interesting plants - some spiny Euphorbia sp among others, but could not see any sign of habitat suitable as orchid territory , and I could not find anyone who showed any sign of understanding my language (English). Of course I only stayed a few hours.
I have been told (since) that it grows on the sea cliffs, but this seems so very unlikely !
Well, I not only like the flowers, but the mottled leaves as well! Very well grown orchids...Betty :-)
I do agree their not great looking... so I suggest you give them to me... especially the
angthong and niveum....
