I enjoyed these photographs Paul And look forward to the separate thread coming up in the future. These are actually over all some of the best pictures I have seen from a orchid show. AL

Awesome pics, Pavel!!!!Lucky you posted that disclaimer or would have sued you for my computer overhaeating - yes, I went over the post so many times. Love the pics of some of those cool-growing orchids. Pleasantly surprised to see some of the old friends there too, particularly Habenaria carnea. It is actually endemic to the limestone areas around my place but I'm glad it has found a home in the Great Lakes region and is doing so well there.
Thanks a lot for the post. And also for recording the names of the plants.
I was there on Saturday. My watercolor of an orange Masdevallia won a blue ribbon. Our society (Michiana Orchid Society) got a 2nd place for 25' displays. I got several great plants in the sales area. The weather was horrendous outside the city. It took me 4 1/2 hours to drive what normally was a 2 hour trip - but this is one of the go-to shows in the mid-west.
You and I were there on the same day, Don. Too bad we didn't know.
Thanks Pavel, for those wonderful photos. Really appreciated it.
