    Mini Palmer and Mimi Palmer are both 1/2 V. tessellata. Mini Palmer wouldn't necessarily be a small plant, though smaller than a full Vanda, but that wouldn't necessarily be true of its progeny. I wouldn't be surprised if Mini was named for a resemblance to Mimi but somewhat smaller stature. It might be impossible to tell if Mini or Mimi was involved here if there really is some question. I think the color of the flower in your second picture is more likely to have come from Mini's ancestry than Mimi's though.

    Wow all this discussion about mini and mimi is making my head hurt thanks Yew and Kirk for the explanations tho im still having a hard time absorbing all this info. Well whatever it is
    we still love this 2 clones, and I guess for the moment I'll leave the label as it is. Thanks

    If you decide to use the label as it is then it would be prudent to change the V to Vpda Mini Palmer or if you decide to keep the V then you should change the Mini to the Mimi.Hehehehe!!!!! Or make of note of both until someone can ascertain what it actually is.
