This species was one of the first orchids I ever bought and I wasn't experienced enough to grow it. Needless to say I lost it shortly there after. So, I acquired another one last fall after a lot of research and it rewarded me with three spikes of blossoms! They have such a powerful, grapefruit smell that fills my kitchen. Thanks to my friend Rachel for taking the photo!

Ohh it is very cute! I would like to have one of these. What made it so difficult to care for?
It's not really that tough to grow. I didn't realize that it needs a dormant period. So I watered during the fall and winter months not knowing it should stay dry.
So beautiful. Love that soft pink colour.
Pink is not my usual favorite color, but the flower form and contrast on this are really lovely on this orchids blooms! Nice going and growing Jason! AL
I love this one: a regular flowerer for me. Didn't take any pictures this year though
