    Nice, i also realise a batch of phal equistris var orange has reached the local nurseries too...but the coloration is not as intense as the ones in your pic.

    Hi Paph,
    - Fine photos, congratulations !
    - I found that the problem with this variety is that the color orange is fading over the time.
    - Have you noticed that too?

    This is a beautiful variety of equestris - excellent shape, attractive colour and that orange lip! And great photos.

    Yes Daniel, I have noticed that and you're absolutely right! This intense orange color is just the first day after the bud is opened and maybe a day after too, then the flowers lost intense orange color and becomes more pinky.
