    Default Epidendrum parkinsonianum

This one is in flower right now: two flowers (on different parts of the rather large plant) and possibly a few more buds (can't tell yet).

I really like the large, elongated, blooms. Very compatible colors on these Epidendrum Flowers. The plant seems to just let it 'all hang out'. AL

How large are the blooms? That looks too cool! I may try to find one of these. Thanks for sharing!

The flowers are 6" wide x 7". The plant is about a meter tall by now. I have seen a rather large specimem at an orchid show which was huge and had 10's of flowers. My plant started to get lots of new growth from the base of the root stock, which means more flowers in future years.

Man, that is a nice specimen sized plant. Those blooms are beautiful. What an orchid!
