Hi everyone! It's so nice to be back!
I was planning to cut off the keiki of this dendro plant when i noticed that it's in spike. I was amazed as I know only matured pseudobulb will produce blooms. I never know keikis can spike out too So happy with this!

Post the bloom! Great growing!!
After bloomed can cut the keiki looks so healthy too.
judging by the length of the roots it is close to maturity, on the other hand having it on the mother plant it still gets nutrient from the mother plant and its roots as well, no wonder it looks so happy and started spiking. can;t wait to see it in bloom
A keikei doesnt need to be mature, most of my kingianums will spike while the leaves are still semi-closed, the spike either appears from the side or push their way through the leaves. Its quite fun actually Congrats!
You can easily break that keiki off and pot it up. It is ready.
cheers,
B D
Thanks everyone! I'll post the photo of the bloom. This is a great experience for me. Orchids always amaze me in many different ways. Never get bored with them. Oh I love orchids!
