Well i,ve got the aluminium frame up & it,s now time for a beer or 10
Hopefully over the weekend i can get a lot more done.
Going to have to cut back a lot of my shrubs
    Floor still needs more gravel.

    Woo hoo Steve!!!

    That's going to be awesome!

I've never grown under HID lights, so I'm really curious about the differences you find--which you like better, what grows better under which conditions.

Enjoy dem beers, man--from the pic, looks like you deserve an even dozen!

Can you feel the envy? Well, I am sure more than just me are feeling it. That is a great looking greenhouse. Good work.

    I sure do.

I wish my husband is building something like that.

It looks like you're making good progress,
    way to go!
You already have the right idea,
but I'll share some advice that was given to me
when I was putting in my fence, and had blisters on
my hands from not wearing gloves:
"Put a cold beer on that, and it'll get better."

WOW...You are going to be so happy with your new greenhouse...the fun part comes with filling it up with plants. Did you put some landscape fabric down before you put in the gravel? I've heard that if you don't, the gravel will keep compressing down into the soil from walking on it, and you'll have to keep adding more.

The gravel starts @ just below the foundation level.A thin layer covered in the plastic bags(heavy duty stuff) & then there will be about a 3" layer on the top of that.Hopefully if we do get really wet weather the water can drain from under the plastic out under the foundations to the right hand side of the g/h were the soil is pretty friable & should drain away.
Most of my garden is basically clay except for the borders.

    It looks great Steve!
How many square meters (m2) is it?

When you're finished will you come over and build me one
