    Cool Prosthechea radiata at RVO

    This orchid has been renamed so many times, I hope I have the current name. Sometimes known as Encyclia radiata, this is Prosthechea radiata. This particular plant is a little bit famous as a much better blooming of it is featured in our forum's book, ORCHIDS THROUGH OUR EYES, that was published in 2007. The blooms appear to be upside down, but that is just how this orchid blooms. Here are some shots from yesterday afternoon:

    Thanks Eric. Actually, these are all from spikes on the same plant. I only have this one orchid plant of this former encyclia.
