Hi Angela, great looking plants as usual. I have just got my first Psychopsis Mariposa GV today!! It has a 10 inch spike already so I wonder how long it will take to bloom? Any ideas?

I am taking a guess here, since I have never really charted the time from spike to bloom, I would think that with such a long spike you should get a bud very soon.
I should also tell you that when you do get a flower, after the flower has fallen off do not cut the spike. Just leave it alone. that spike will produce several more buds and flowers before it dies off. I have had a broken spike which bloomed from the next node on the broken spike.
Good Luck. When your flower opens let us have a Pic.
