My first rebloom of my only cymbidium orchid (hope to get more soon).. seems to be quite out of season though which might be why there is only a handful of blooms, not that Im complaining, Im just happy that its in bloom at all .. Not all of the buds have opened yet so I might post a picture of the spikes when they all open.
very nice indeed...great job
Very pretty.
Thank you both so much!
That is so beautiful. Great growing and blooming of this orchid!!
cheers,
BD
Wow ! Looks like a warmth tolerant Cym. Would definitely like to have one. Congrats on blooming it and hope to see the entire plant and all the flowers open soon.
Thanks BD and Halloamey.. yes it definitely is a warmth tolerant cymbidium, I keep it outdoors year round in southern California (it has been exposed to temperatures over 38 °C before and didn't take it too badly), unfortunetly when I first got it, it got a little bit too much sun so some of the leaves are burned a bit.
Very, very nice.
