    You know Angel from what your telling me about trimming, that means I was doing the right thing and didn't even know it..................AL

    Yes Al. Otherwise it's growth habit results in the plant being too tall and lanky.

    I'm sure. These guys are such fast growers. That's why even if the flowers just last for a day, a hibiscus seldom seems to be out of flower because new shoots quickly reach blooming age.

    Thank you for sharing all these beautiful pictures Angel, I'm a great fan of Hibiscus too. I planted some in my sister's garden a few years ago before I moved here. I'm sharing some of the photos which I took last year when I went on holiday in Mauritius.

    Thanks Angel, Yeah the third one is quite special because of the lighter edge, but I like the yellow as much because it is huge. I kind of miss my little tropical paradise at times, but I'm thinking to move further north where I can grow more exotic species and where my orchids will be happier too
