I am hoping to have a greenhouse very soon, so hmmmm....... Might just have to get me some of these beauties.
Thanks, Jonada. Glad you like it that much, if only I could give you some. Well, you would need a lot of sunlight and heat. I wouldn't know about Wisconsin, but in Cotabato the average hottest daily temperature is 32 degrees Celcius and would fall to only about 24 deg Celsius at night. And all of my hibiscus like that, even if they are in full tropical sunlight all day long.
Well, they could summer outside, but would have to spend the winter inside or in the greenhouse (which I don't have yet).
I have since bought a new digicam and this is a more accurate representation of the color of this hibiscus.
Wow! Really cool! I've never seen one like that before.
Me too, Angie. It was my first time to see one at a small nursery beside the national highway while on my way to my grandpa's farm three years ago. I didn't even buy it but the vendor snapped off some cuttings for me.
