OCSA = orchid club of south australia. Some pics from the show:
I have lots more photos, so I am lazy to copy and paste the IMG links onto here. You can see them on my photobucket album (user: paphioboy). Enjoy.
Awesome pics, Paphioboy! I just love that pure white cym in the first picture.WOW. Thanks for sharing.
Oh god ! That was such an amazing treat for my eyes. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos with us, I miss cymbidiums LOL !
How wonderful! That orchid show had some spectacular blooms!
cheers,

Thank you. Glad you like them. This is apparently the best cym show in the world...
Wow I like it paphioboy thanks for sharing with us love Cymbidium, can grow but cant bloom here at lowland.
OMG! My passion for orchid collecting started when I bought a cym left over from an Atlanta Orchid Show this past February - it was part of a display with masses of salmon pink cyms and I got the last one - didn't even really know anything about it then. After it bloomed, repotting it became the issue of the year and, although I have been warned I don't live in the right place to rebloom it, I'm going to get it to spike this October/November if it kills me.
Seeing these photos makes me wish I had more space for cyms - mine takes up the most space of all my orchids by far and I don't think I could fit another one in, although I almost bought one yesterday. Temptation....... Did you know Geoff (Dorsetman) used to have a greenhouse devoted just to cyms? Seeing these completely explains why.
THANK YOU FOR THE TREAT! I know it's work to post them - I try to do it when I take my camera to the conservatory - but people SO appreciate it.
